9-18-13 Free Ableton Classes at Sam Ash New Haven

I’m teaching free Ableton classes at Sam Ash’s New Haven store on Saturdays starting at 10:45 AM. Feel free to stop by and learn what you can.

I’ll also be putting a program together to teach audio recording using ProTools, Reason, and Ableton at Sine Wave Recording Studio. Please email sinewaveCT@yahoo.com if your interested.

7/17/13 DJ-Drops

We’ve added Ableton to the list of software currently in use at the studio.
Also I will be editing the studio page to ad a few services. For example recording custom DJ Drops and editing together mix tapes for DJs. My time at Sam Ash is helping me hone in on services that people are looking for in today’s audio world, but I can do a lot more that what I’ve thought to list here so please feel free to ask.

3/29/2013 American Made Insider

Yesterday Pg. 256 got an awesome review from American Made Insider. Click the link to check it out. The reviewer totally got the vibe of Taken in the Late 30s. I may also be interviewed for AMI. If so that’ll be the first interview since MIDI and Code, and the first Pg. 256 interview. Things are picking up. Slowly but surely. Don’t call me Shirly.

3/4/13 -Doin some coverin-

I find it peaceful and relaxing to be home again w/ my little buddies. I’m currently gathering talent from the area to put together a few cover songs w/ a Pg. 256 twist to them. Already in the studio working on a version of Feeling Good. Also would like to thank Pierce Campbell at Twelfth Octave Music for the fantastic review. Be sure to head to PierceCampbell.com and show him some love.

“I’m not that easily impressed, having heard it all as a fulltime songwriter, producer and musician for over 25 years, but Jon has demonstrated a knack for great song, production and engineering. This is really creative and thoughtful music, which is obviously written and produced by someone who cares enough about the art to go the extra mile to do it right! This is excellent stuff and I can’t wait to hear more!”
Pierce Campbell – CT State Troubadour ’07/’08, Twelfth Octave Music

Will be taking a week off from the business end in order to get the studio set up for writing new music. I’ll still be taking calls so leave a message and I’ll get back ASAP, and I will go through my emails at the beginning of next week.

What will the new stuff sound like? I’ve got a million ideas going right now. Probably going to make an EP next and explore some new styles while keeping that Pg. 256 vibe. Whatever comes I will definitely keep you posted and share songs along the way.

2/6/13 -cthiphop.net review
